About the units:
Jewellery 18: is an e-commerce portal for artificial and fashion jewellery. It’s an only market place for jewellery where sellers can sell their product to the buyers directly. Story behind the name “jewellery18” is the 18 years of age of any girl at which she moves from school to college and like to wear jewellery accessories according to her dresses, but due to limitation of pocket money she can’t buy precious jewellery, So she opts for fashion or artificial jewellery. Our pricing range of the product varies from Rs.199 to Rs.9999. Till now J18 has a good market presence and awareness. Our variety ranges wood jewellery, paper jewellery; textile jewellery, metal jewellery, American Diamond, Kundan, Polki, leather jewellery, Teracota jewellery, and many more, some of the varieties are not even available on big Ecom portals. We already have tie ups with 25-30 suppliers to get associated with Jewellery18 and expected to have 200 vendors on the panel in next 3 months. We are also supporting women (who are from rural or lower financial background) suppliers of jewellery by giving them a commission free platform to sell their jewellery products on our portal and also helping them even if they are not having their complete legal documentation like vat and service tax etc.
Social Tahelka: is an online magazine covering content of almost every genre like sports, current affairs, entertainment, business, automobile, fashion, lifestyle, real estate etc. besides all these it will have interviews of achievers and budding talent from various fields and also start up stories to support budding entrepreneurs. Social Tahelka has already covered 60 plus interviews ranging from authors to Bollywood and from start up to international celebs. Content and videos will be created in-house and also be sourced from freelancers if required.
Cure Destinations: is a medical tourism venture, serving international patients for medical treatment services in India. We help them from appointment to post treatment services including their travelling and staying in India. Recently we are supporting an NGO from Afghanistan who wants to have a treatment of VSD closure (hole in heart) of 20 kids in India. This project is still under finalising stage.
My dream is to make our company as group of companies in next 5 years.
Social Tahelka is one of our major project which will help us to be known in the market. Our aim is to make it something – not a news portal nor a simple blog, but something which can serve content for everyone’s interest.
If you are talking about the ecosystem for the start ups, it still need to be improved alot. There are number of schemes announced for the start ups, but there are lots of hidden conditions because of which start ups cant avail the support of these schemes.
