Tell us about your life journey in brief?
Well, I was born and brought up in a small township area Bhilai (Chhattisgarh) where the only known landmark is Steel Authority Of India ( SAIL’s) biggest and most productive steel plant. (for knowledge). This is a place from where India today’s one of top most director belongs ( ANURAGH BASU).My academic career was not so good, but my vision was and is very high. So I came to Delhi 9 yrs back to make my career. Since childhood i was creative and fascinated towards cinema (Mythology, Animated, Adventure movies), so I started my career in web and graphics. I come from a very simple family so I didn’t have any resources to move into filmmaking. Last I was on the job as a creative director with an organization in Delhi. As filmmaking is the ultimate goal of my life, it took overnight to take a decision to quit my job and get into field of moviemaking. At that point of time, I even didn’t know how to hold a simple camera. Thus, my journey as a filmmaker started with lots of tutorials, training, traveling, tough situations and big tolerance level to tackle and deliver project assigned to me. Which i called as 6Ts of Filmmaker’s Journey.
What prompted you to become a filmmaker?
Inner feeling not to live one’s life but to live many lives simultaneously in one human body. This was true feeling that really prompted me towards cinema. Because,I am not bounded by career like everyone does in life. Every time I rejuvenate myself as a new human and secondly, till the end of my life my sense of creativity will not die. I will be continuously doing something for me and the society.
Tell us about your team, if you have?
When I started as a filmmaker, I started alone. Slowly I developed a small team of few friends. Still I don’t have big team as such.

This HELL is my first short film, before this I have completed a full length children’s film (The Krishna and Khan) which is under post production, this movie is kid’s adventure movie. Well,I am really fascinated towards Adventure, Mythological, Romantic movies.
What is your dream/ vision?
My dream is to have production house and television channel like discovery and national geographic which can work on entertainment and knowledge both.
Personally we take movies as entertainment, but its impacts on humans is on knowledge
and intellect level, that is why individuals are personally and emotionally connected to this craft of cinema.
For me knowledge is above every entertainment that’s why I am working toward knowledge and entertainment both. Having said that right now my Web series is going Live on YouTube channel where I am travelling to unseen places of India and the name of series is ” AMAZING INDIA WILD and UNSEEN”
What difficulties you face as an independent filmmaker?
In filmmaker’s life or for a new or independent filmmaker, finance is the only biggest problem. Rest, if you are good project leader, all will be managed.
What inspires you or keeps you going?
Since childhood, my brain thinks, sees and visualizes those little small things which a normal individual cannot see or think of. This inspires me towards new story.
Any fun/ memorable incident?
Shooting in deep jungles during rainy seasons for my children’s film was an amazing experience. Mosquitoes, rain and shooting was a contrast combination!
What advice you’d like to give to someone who is interested/newbie in film making?
Though, I am new myself to advice anyone, but I will say, choose most difficult situation for movie, learn, analyze and improvise your situation, do basic things correct in all departments. Don’t miss your deadlines.
Work very fast then you team mates.
