Stagephod is the brainchild of Nikhilesh Tayal, who is an IIT Kharagpur alumnus. After closing his first start-up CVbhejo, Nikhilesh pursued his passion for theatre for some time. But soon he came up with a new business idea and after combining his experience in theatre, entrepreneurship and technology, created a market place to find video makers. Akhil Gupta is the co-founder of Stagephod.
“One day I came across Nikhilesh’s post, he was looking for a co-founder for his second start-up Stagephod.com. I spoke to him and we hit the right note from the beginning, we discussed our drivers in life and they matched very well. I decided to work with Nikhilesh on Stagephod from there on.” said Akhil who is an IIT Delhi alumnus.
“We are positioning ourselves as a startup who helps other startups acquire more clients by creating a high quality video in less amount. We aim to make good concept videos affordable for early stage startups. We wish to expand the existing filmmaker community. They are our strength and we want to ensure that we have a good community of creatives with us” he added.
Currently, the Startup is bootstrapped and is also planning to start its own production house in the coming months.
