Javeed Pasha who is pursuing his engineering but thinks that he is destined to become a filmmaker. Read on to know more about this young filmmaker.
Tell us about your life journey in brief?
I am from Khamman Dist pursuing my engineering degree. I was destined to come here. I love watching more Hollywood movies than Tollywood because I get a chance to watch different genres. During my B.Tech 2nd year, I started writing a script but haven’t done a shoot for it. Then I planned of becoming a dancer. Apart from that I approached one of my senior named Dikshit who was making a few short films. I told him about my interest in short films and he took me in his assistant director department. From that short movie, I could learn a lot of things. Later on I was teamed with Sai Sharma who was preparing to start his second movie(VALUE OF LIFE). By being in his team, I wrote a script which was 07 minutes long. After that , I started to direct after I heard the story narrated by Vikram Talasila(CINEMATOGRAPHER OF VALUR OF LIFE). I acted in it too and from there began my career and it continued.
What prompted you to become a film maker?
The passion that I had towards movies inspired me to become a film maker.
Tell us about your team, if you have?
I worked in a team named Vteam works which had grown tremendously. Apart from this, we take other moves if we like the script.
How many/what kind of movies you have made?
As of date, I have directed for 2 films, assisted for 2 films and had been an executive director for two movies(I AM TEENPATTI). All of these movies were thrillers. But, now I am planning to do different genres.
What is your dream/vision?
I dream is to direct a dance based independent short film. Till now I have not selected any genres. Hope it works well..
What difficulties you face as an independent film maker?
I had been waiting for 2 years to make a short film and during that time I had no support to make a film. Now, I am happy. I still have to learn so much. All of the knowledge that I have now is all from the movies that I watched.
What inspires you or keeps you going?
Watching movies inspired me to keep going and not look back.
Any fun/memorable incident?
There are many memories but best are with Vikram Bhaiya and Vijay(Director for CHARANS LOVE STORY). We have a lot of memories specially the making of (I AM AND CHARANS LOVE STORY).
What advice you’d like to give someone who is interested/newbee in film making?
Making a short film is a very good idea now a days. People love making films on different genres. Don’t go for the routine. Think differently then you can understand about 24 crafts and achieve your goals. Cinema is basically a matter of what’s in the frame and what’s out.
Anything else you’d like to share?
Audience can live without a movie but it is impossible for a movie to live without an audience.
